ListMyDay Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 25, 2026
Who operates ListMyDay
ListMyDay is published by Jeffrey J. Zarend. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to jzarend@gmail.com. For general help, see ListMyDay Support.
What information is processed
Caregivers enter appointments, reminders, tasks, dates, times, locations, notes and display settings. These entries may contain personal or health-related information if a caregiver chooses to include it. ListMyDay also processes household identifiers, device enrollment and approval requests, authorization credentials, and limited operational or security records needed to run the service.
Authorized devices store local copies of the schedule to support display during temporary disconnection. The publisher does not require a care receiver to register a personal account.
Why information is used
Information is used to show schedules and reminders, synchronize changes, manage caregiver and receiver device access, and maintain service security and reliability. Caregivers control which displays are approved and can revoke display access. A care receiver's display credential does not provide caregiver administration privileges.
Hosting and other services
The ListMyDay service for households using api.listmyday.com is operated on an OVHcloud virtual private server. Household data is stored in the service's database and on authorized devices. Hosting infrastructure necessarily handles network connections to provide the service. The publisher may access server systems for maintenance, security and support; support users are not asked to email private schedule details or access keys.
ListMyDay does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. When the optional weather feature is used, the selected city is used for a request to Open-Meteo; precise GPS location is not required for weather. See Open-Meteo's terms.
Protection of information
The iOS release app uses HTTPS to contact its configured service, stores credentials in the iOS Keychain, and protects locally stored schedule snapshots using iOS file protection. Server access is restricted by device roles and tenant authorization. Operational backups are stored separately from the active server. No online system can guarantee complete security.
Retention, deletion and backups
Schedule entries generally remain until the caregiver changes or deletes them or the household is closed. Approved-device records and related operational data may remain while needed to operate and secure the household. The caregiver can remove individual entries and revoke device access. Contact jzarend@gmail.com to request deletion of an entire hosted household or copies controlled by the publisher.
Encrypted disaster-recovery backups may persist separately from the active database. As of the effective date, these backups are not subject to an automatic fixed retention schedule and must be removed or replaced manually. Data already exported by a household, or cached on a device that stays offline, cannot always be remotely erased.
Your choices and requests
Caregivers can edit schedule information, decline optional weather, and revoke display permissions. For access, correction, export or deletion requests concerning a hosted household, email jzarend@gmail.com and identify the household without including credentials or sensitive appointment details. We may need to verify that the requester controls the household before acting. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law.
Changes to this policy
The latest policy is published at this address with an updated effective date. Significant changes that affect hosted-household data handling may also be communicated through the app or to known caregiver contacts where practicable.
